History
36 years ago I began my electronic career. My initial introduction into electronics was at Indian Area Vo-Tech in Muskogee, OK my Junior and Senior years of high school. I was then hired at a company that was building water control electronics. I discovered how to put the knowledge I was learning in school to use with hands-on experience. After graduating in 1985, I joined the US Air Force and went through their electronics training program. After leaving the US Air Force with an Honorable Discharge, I worked in industrial electronic assembly and worked my way up to installing CNC equipment used in the manufacturing of contact lenses. I left the traveling and started repairing consumer electronics as an electronic bench technician. I made a career of repairing electronics others could not.
Nuclear Experience
I worked outages as a contract nuclear I&C technician from 2012 to 2016. I went in house at Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant in which I completed the requirements for Senior Nuclear I&C Technician. Because of my electronics repair background, I was moved to their Board Rework repair facility and later became the Board Rework Repair Coordinator.
